WASHINGTON / November 22 / BPALiveWire Cheryl Hines has released her memoir Unscripted. The 200-page book traces her journey from a middle-class childhood in Tallahassee Florida to a two-decade run as Cheryl David on HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm and later to life as the wife of Robert F. Kennedy Jr former 2024 independent presidential candidate and current Secretary of Health and Human Services in the second Trump administration.


Hines describes her early years in Los Angeles bartending working as a personal assistant and training at The Groundlings where she sharpened the improv skills that led Larry David to create her Curb role in 2000. That breakthrough opened doors to the ABC sitcom Suburgatory directing work and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.


The book also covers her 2014 marriage to Kennedy the challenges of blending families and the intense scrutiny they faced during the 2024 campaign.


Throughout she discusses her longtime advocacy for people with disabilities inspired by her nephew’s cerebral palsy and her decades of service to United Cerebral Palsy.

Unscripted has landed on nonfiction bestseller lists and is noted for its candid mix of Hollywood stories and insight into a high-profile political marriage.
