WASHINGTON / July 3, 2026 / BPALiveWire — As America prepares to celebrate its 250th birthday, Bass Bonded Publishing is inviting readers to commemorate the nation's founding by revisiting the books that helped shape it.

Today the publisher opened preorders for limited collector paperback editions of four new titles in its acclaimed Rediscovered American Classics series. Just 250 numbered copies of each edition will be available during the exclusive preorder period through Bass Bonded Publishing's website. E-book and audiobook editions will also be available for preorder in the coming weeks.

The new releases include Common Sense by Thomas Paine featuring a foreword by Dr. Ben Carson, Poems on Various Subjects, Religious and Moral by Phillis Wheatley featuring a foreword by Dr. Alveda King, Selected Federalist Papers featuring a foreword by Jimmy Kemp and Selected Letters of John and Abigail Adams featuring a foreword by Bruce and Sharon LeVell.

The books join the growing Rediscovered American Classics collection, which also includes Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass, Clotel; or, The President's Daughter and The Black Man by William Wells Brown.

These are not ordinary reprints. Each edition pairs the original text with chapter summaries, historical notes and discussion questions with answers that help modern readers engage more deeply with the work while preserving the author's original voice. Every volume also concludes with a period-inspired recipe and menu that offers readers a taste of the world in which the author lived.

"America's greatest books deserve more than a place in museums or on forgotten library shelves," said Deana Bass Williams, co-founder of Bass Bonded Publishing. "As we approach America 250, we want readers to rediscover the ideas, debates and stories that continue to shape our nation. These books are not relics. They are invitations to join the American conversation."

Individual collector editions are available at BassBondedPublishing.com/books for preorder for $25. Readers may also preorder the complete four-volume collector set for $75 while supplies last.
