WASHINGTON / December 5, 2025 / BPALiveWire - President Donald Trump has appointed Bruce LeVell as director of public and private partnerships for the U.S. Department of Agriculture. LeVell was sworn in Dec. 1. This move highlights Trump’s commitment to elevating proven business leaders into government roles to drive efficiency and innovation.
LeVell, a longtime Trump supporter and Atlanta entrepreneur, brings decades of small-business expertise to the position. He owns Dunwoody Diamonds USA LLC, a jewelry retail firm in the Atlanta suburb of Dunwoody. Over 25 years LeVell has grown his company while advocating for entrepreneurs and small-business owners across the Southeast. Previously he served as Region Four advocate for the SBA Office of Advocacy, representing small firms in eight states.
Under the leadership of Secretary Brooke Rollins, the USDA plays a vital role in bolstering the U.S. economy by providing critical support to farmers, ranchers and rural communities. Rollins has swiftly advanced Trump’s America First agenda through bold actions on efficiency and prosperity. Through programs like crop insurance, farm loans and rural development initiatives, the department ensures food security, strengthens supply chains and fuels job growth nationwide.
LeVell expressed his enthusiasm in a recent X post: “I am truly blessed with the opportunity to serve in this administration and to help bring strength to our nation’s agriculture and land.”
This appointment promises fresh momentum for American agriculture under Trump’s leadership.
