Statement from The Frederick Douglass Foundation on the appointment of Linda Matthews to the Central State University Board of Trustees.
The Frederick Douglass Foundation (FDF) is proud to announce the historic appointment of FDF’s Ohio State Ambassador Linda Matthews, of Hamilton County, to the Central State University Board of Trustees. This appointment by Governor Mike DeWine makes Matthews the first Black republican appointed to the position.
Matthews joins 44 people appointed whose term runs from October 7, 2022, to June 30, 2031,
