NASHVILLE, July 12, 2023 /BPALiveWire/ Tennessee State University is set to achieve a significant milestone as it becomes the first Historically Black College or University (HBCU) to introduce men's ice hockey at the collegiate level.

TSU Hockey is poised to inaugurate its debut season in 2024, marking a significant turning point for the university. The institution is actively recruiting a Director of Hockey Operations. In the interim, assistant athletic director Nick Guerriero will oversee hockey-related inquiries. Guerriero expresses enthusiasm for the journey ahead, aiming to promote excellence in collegiate hockey.
