FAIRFAX, Va. / BPALiveWire — In a bold push to capture younger audiences and dominate digital media, the National Rifle Association has partnered with We the Free, a fast-rising streaming platform that promises adrenaline-pumping entertainment centered on gun ownership, tactical expertise, and unapologetic American freedoms.

The partnership provides NRA members with a 10% discount on We the Free subscriptions. In return, a share of the proceeds supports the NRA's efforts to protect Second Amendment rights. The move positions the NRA, America's oldest civil rights group with over 5 million members, in the digital streaming arena alongside a platform that emphasizes unapologetic pro-gun programming.

This alliance arrives amid broader shifts in gun ownership demographics, including notable growth among non-traditional communities. Recent surveys show firearm ownership rising among women and minority groups, often driven by personal protection concerns. For instance, women now account for about 22-24% of gun owners, with female ownership having surged dramatically since the 1990s. Among Black Americans, ownership rates stand at around 24%, and reports highlight Black women as one of the fastest-growing segments in recent years—fueled by factors like rising crime perceptions and self-defense needs, with groups like the National African American Gun Association noting significant increases in female participation.

"We The Free is proud to partner with the National Rifle Association, America’s oldest and most powerful civil rights and sportsmen’s organization, representing more than five million members," said Shermichael Singleton, a We the Free founder and host on the platform. "This partnership is about drawing a clear line: standing with law-abiding gun owners, amplifying uncensored firearms content, and backing the constitutional rights that anti-gun activists and Big Tech are working to erode."

NRA Executive Vice President and CEO Doug Hamlin described the collaboration as a way to engage younger audiences through edgy, high-production-value material.

The collaboration offers a mix of shows blending action, analysis and lifestyle elements. Highlights include "Guns Out TV," co-hosted by Singleton and John Keys, which mixes politics, pop culture and gun reviews. "Print Shoot Repeat" features viral experiments with 3D-printed firearms, while "Keep & Bear News" delivers updates on industry innovations. Other programs like "ICarry" from NRA staff and "The Kim Klacik Show" tackle gear evaluations and liberty discussions.

A joint series, "The Freedom Front," spotlights personal stories of gun owners, from competitive events to outdoor hunts. Classic NRA content, such as "I Have This Old Gun," also appears on the platform.

Singleton has called the collaboration the "Netflix of the Second Amendment." He emphasized the platform's ambition to create a dedicated space for Second Amendment supporters. "Together, we are building a streaming network that delivers real community, where gun owners engage, share videos, train, and consume pro-Second Amendment entertainment, firearms news, and political commentary, while defending the Second Amendment without compromise," he said.

The We the Free app is accessible on smart TVs and mobile devices, with content available now. Officials say the partnership expands the NRA's 150-year legacy into modern media, fostering a vibrant community for freedom advocates, including the growing ranks of diverse gun owners embracing their constitutional rights.
