MONTGOMERY VILLAGE, MD/SEPTEMBER 12/ BPALiveWire - Friday, September 15, is the final day for young entrepreneurs to enter the Dream Big & Own It pitch competition sponsored by The Douglass Leadership Institute (DLI). The inaugural competition is set to take place on Saturday, November 4, 2023, as part of the "Our Faith, Our Family, Our Freedom Conference." DLI is investing in a generation of visionaries who are passionate about making their entrepreneurial debut. The competition offers substantial prizes to the top three winners: $5,000 for first place, $3,500 for second place and $2,000 for third place.
Participants must first register to attend the "Our Faith, Our Family, Our Freedom Conference" at conference.dlinstitute.org. Entrants must be between the ages of 17 and 23 by the time of the conference and must be citizens of the United States. Neither the applicant nor any immediate family members (mother, father, siblings, or spouse) can be staff members of the Douglass Leadership Institute.
Aspiring entrepreneurs must submit their applications by midnight on September 15, 2023. Applicants are required to subscribe to Douglass Leadership Institute's social media channels on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. The top five finalists will be announced on DLI's social media platforms on October 1. The winners will be announced at the Douglass Leadership Institute Gala on November 4.
